We are excited to invite you to a parenting seminar being hosted at Grace Church on February 23 (7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) and February 24 (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.).
We are also providing optional child care for both sessions as needed for infants through 6th grade. The seminar and child care are free of charge.
Join us February 23rd and 24th as our friends Scott and Shelly Kirkman share what God has taught them through seasons of parenting. For those who may not have had the pleasure to get to know the Kirkmans, You are in for a treat. Read below to get a sense of why so many here at Grace are so grateful for their friendship…
“We are Scott and Shelley Kirkman. We’ve been married over 35 years and have been parents for 22 years. We have absolutely no qualifications for leading a parenting seminar. We can, however, tell you about our mistakes, mishaps and mess ups and what we’ve learned along the way. The fact that our daughter loves Jesus, loves people and has a heart for the kingdom is completely due to the grace of God in all our lives. The one thing we did right was ask for help…a lot. We still ask for help. We’ve learned that parenting is a process, not an event. We’re still processing.”
Sign ups are available in the lobby on Sunday morning.
